Registered Nurse (RN) - OR | Travel | RN-OR, Acute Care | Illinois

Assignment Overview

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Operating Room (OR) for a travel assignment. The role is within a general surgery unit that handles a variety of cases including laparoscopic procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, and urology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery and experience with EPIC charting system.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not specified
Location: Illinois
Shift Details: Shifts are 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM, 36 or 40 hours per week based on contract
Call Requirements: Call hours once per week, weekend call every other or every third weekend
Floating: Possible to other surgery teams or SPD if qualified
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2916 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with surgical technologists in the OR
Assist with general surgery, gynecology, and urology procedures
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including maintaining a Drug-Free Campus

Qualifications

Required:

Active Illinois RN License or initiation of application process
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
2 years of experience in general surgery, gynecology, and urology
Experience with EPIC charting system

Preferred:

Experience in facilities and ORs of similar size within the last 2 years
