Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a resource team setting and will be required to manage a variety of cases, including cross-training for ED tasks such as IV starts and labs. Experience in MedSurg/Tele and patient ratio management is necessary.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Immediate
- Shift Details: 3x12 Days
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Floating Required: Yes, within region
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Holiday Expectations: 75% of holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide care for ED Holds and cross-train in the ED for tasks like IV starts and labs
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Manage medication drips including cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, and IVF
- Handle general Med/Tele procedures such as trach care and chest tube management
- Participate in patient management including falls, stroke, COPD, and other complex conditions
Qualifications
Required:
- Current RN license
- 2 years Med/Tele experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency in EPIC charting
- General Med/Tele skillset
