Respiratory Therapist | General Floors | Location: Not Provided

Assignment Overview

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity setting and be prepared to work with minimal supervision in a Level 1 Trauma facility.

Responsibilities

Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment
Develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
Perform advanced respiratory care modalities
Evaluate respiratory practices and treatment based on patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about health conditions and available programs
Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes

Qualifications

Required:

BLS Provider certification from AHA or ARC
Respiratory Care Practitioner credential from Indiana Respiratory Care Committee
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC

Preferred:

Advanced Life Support certification from AHA or ARC
Neonatal Resuscitation certification from AAP
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification from AHA or ARC
