Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Chicago, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in an Emergency Room setting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a Level I Trauma Center, preferably within a teaching hospital. The ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment is essential. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Patient Ratios: 1:4
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2116.8 (negotiable)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required
Charting System: Epic
Local candidates accepted

Responsibilities

Manage care of patients in urgent and emergency situations
Conduct assessments and prioritize patient needs
Administer and document medications and treatments
Interpret and act upon results from various diagnostic tests
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team and family members

Qualifications

Required:

IL RN license in hand
1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma ED
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
Ability to manage a high-acuity environment

Preferred:

Experience in a teaching hospital
TNCC, CPI certifications
