Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Travel |

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing acute changes in patients and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Competence in rhythm strip interpretation and chronic ventilator experience are essential.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Yes
Charting System: Epic
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $1772.82 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Assess acute changes in patients
Interpret rhythm strips
Administer and manage cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem
Provide tracheostomy care and management

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of telemetry experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
Competency in rhythm strip interpretation
Illinois RN license
Skills in blood product administration, central line care, and telemetry

Preferred:

Competency in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips
