Registered Nurse - ICU | Travel |

Assignment Overview

Join the Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse specializing in critical care. This role requires at least 1 year of experience, handling various adult and geriatric critical conditions, with a focus on neurological and cardiac cases. Ideal candidates will have a proactive approach to patient care and the ability to manage high acuity levels within a dynamic setting.

Assignment Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating Requirement: Yes
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2010.96 (negotiable)
Charting System: Epic
Orientation Hours: 12
Locals accepted

Responsibilities

Manage arterial line and central line care/management
Provide care for ventilated patients
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Operate intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
Participate in rapid response and Code 33 teams

Qualifications

Required:

IL RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
At least 1 year of ICU experience
Experience managing patients with higher neurology and cardiac volumes
Proficiency in Epic charting system

Preferred:

NIHSS certification

PEL/VIP Job ID #65930064. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
