Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing medical acute patients, including those with conditions such as pneumonia, heart failure, and sepsis. Prior travel experience and teamwork skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical acute patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Perform foley care, CHG bathing, and oral care
• Monitor tele strips and collaborate with PCTs for patient care

Qualifications

Required:

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
• Comply with drug-free campus policy

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of experience
• Previous travel experience
• PALS certification
