Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Experience performing ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT exams
- Comfort working in a trauma center environment; Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Experience with fixed CT equipment; familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
- Ability to work day shifts and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings while maintaining patient safety and image quality
- Operate and troubleshoot fixed CT scanners and related imaging equipment according to department protocols
- Triage and prioritize studies in a high-acuity/trauma-capable environment with 1:1 patient ratios when needed
- Document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record system and follow unit guidelines
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support timely patient care and departmental workflow

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a CT Technologist based in Houston, TX (zip 77090). The role supports the hospital radiology department on a day shift schedule (08:00–18:30), covering emergency, inpatient, and outpatient CT exams. The position requires ARRT (CT) certification and candidates with trauma center experience (Trauma Level II) will be prioritized. The technologist will operate fixed CT equipment, enter documentation into the EMR, and work closely with the imaging team to deliver timely, high-quality patient care. Assignment dates run from 03/09/2026 to 06/08/2026.
