Hours: 12.5-hour shifts; primarily scheduled Friday–Sunday with holiday and on-call rotations; expected to work every other weekend

Requirements
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
- CPR certification required
- SCRQSA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience acceptable
- Experience performing trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient CT exams
- Ability to operate GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO CT scanners
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- Available for holiday coverage and on-call rotations
- Gray scrubs required as uniform
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT exams across trauma, stroke, ED, and inpatient settings, following department protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot GE CT scanner platforms and ensure image quality for clinical interpretation
- Document procedures, findings, and patient information in the Meditech electronic system
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and required certifications while collaborating with unit staff and rotating on weekends/holidays
- Respond to on-call requests and adjust schedule per the unit’s staffing needs

Job Description
This travel CT Technologist assignment in Charleston, SC is a 13-week contract beginning 04/27/2026 supporting a busy hospital CT unit. The role requires ARRT CT, CPR, and SCRQSA certifications and at least one year of CT experience. The technologist will perform a range of exams including trauma, stroke, emergency department, and inpatient studies using GE 64- and 128-slice scanners and will document work in Meditech. Schedule expectations include primarily Friday–Sunday coverage, holiday shifts, on-call availability, and every-other-weekend rotation. The position demands strong technical skills, the ability to work in an acute care/Level II trauma environment, and adherence to unit dress code and policies.
