Shift: 07:00–15:30
Hours: 8-hour shifts; standard 07:00–15:30 with possible flexibility to 08:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00

Requirements
- Certification: ACLS and BLS required
- RCIS or RCES preferred
- Prior Cath Lab experience required; EP experience preferred
- Ability to assist with PCI, EP procedures, device implants (PPM, ICD), TAVR, Watchman, Impella, INARI
- Comfortable working in a three-room cath lab (two EP-compatible rooms)
- Call coverage required (distributed across staff; weekends handled by on-call team)
- Documentation experience with Meditech preferred
- Number of positions: 1

Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures by preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and assisting physicians during cases
- Maintain sterile field, set up and troubleshoot cath lab instrumentation and devices, and assist with device implantation and EP cases
- Provide intra-procedural patient monitoring and post-procedure care per unit protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as needed
- Collaborate with RN staff, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
- Document procedures and patient care in the electronic medical record (Meditech)

Job Description
This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in El Paso, TX (05/04/2026–08/03/2026). The role covers day shifts primarily from 07:00–15:30 with required flexibility to work alternate day shifts when operational needs demand. The position supports a busy three-room catheterization suite (two EP-capable rooms) and includes call responsibilities for emergent cases. Candidates must hold ACLS and BLS certifications, have cath lab experience, and be able to assist with a wide range of procedures including PCI, EP ablations, device implants, and structural interventions. RCIS/RCES certification and familiarity with Meditech are preferred.
