Active RN license (TN or compact)
Minimum 1 year of ICU/CVICU or critical care experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Ability to pass background screening
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to residents
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor and document patient conditions
Supervise LPNs and CNAs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team

Job Description
Wise Medical Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for contract opportunities in Nashville, TN.
This role is based in a cardiac intensive care unit (CVICU) and focuses on providing high-quality post-operative cardiac surgery and advanced device patient care. The unit is a 16-bed CVICU with high-acuity patients, patient ratios typically 1:2 (1:1 for certain device patients), and cares for ECMO, Centrimags, HM3 LVADs, IABP, Impella, and CRRT patients. Advanced hemodynamic monitoring (PA catheter/Swan) experience and procedures such as central line and intubation management are required. Documentation system: Meditech. Scheduling requirements include 2 weekends/month and select holiday coverage.
