Requirements
- RT(R) certification required; CT certification preferred
- Prior CT and general radiology imaging experience (routine CT, stroke CT/perfusion)
- Competence with IV starts preferred
- Experience using CT equipment (e.g., GE Revolution 128-slice) and PACS/EMR (Cerner, Philips Intellispace) preferred
- Ability to work night shift schedule and occasional weekends; flexible team-oriented attitude
- Active state radiologic technologist license and any required credentials for travel assignments

Responsibilities
- Perform CT and general radiology imaging studies, including routine CT and stroke CT with perfusion, following radiologist protocols
- Operate and maintain CT equipment (e.g., GE Revolution 128-slice) and digital imaging systems; ensure image quality and patient safety
- Initiate IV contrast procedures when indicated and document contrast administration per facility policies
- Use Cerner EMR and Philips Intellispace PACS for exam scheduling, image management, and reporting support
- Collaborate with radiology staff and clinical teams to manage patient flow in a busy small-hospital radiology department, including night and weekend coverage
- Adhere to facility protocols for patient identification, radiation safety, and exam documentation

Job Description
This travel CT technologist assignment supports a 59-bed critical-access hospital in Franklin, NC, covering nights on a 40-hour/week schedule for a 13-week contract beginning 05/11/2026. The role requires CT and general radiology imaging skills, with emphasis on routine CT studies and emergent stroke CT/perfusion imaging. The radiology department uses GE CT equipment (Revolution 128-slice), Cerner EMR, and Philips Intellispace PACS; staff collaborate closely across x-ray and CT modalities.
