Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate care throughout imaging procedures.
- Utilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies effectively.
- Support efficient patient flow and study throughput during assigned shifts.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
- Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate’s degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Technologist.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT-CT certification within six (6) months of hire, if applicable.
- Must remain a member in good standing with the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- ARRT-CT Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled in an approved program, a recent graduate eligible for certification, or an experienced technologist eligible for certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist certification through the ARRT.
