Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity, inner-city hospital setting working 4x10-hour night shifts.
Details
- CT department within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with Stroke and Burn units
- GE scanners in use — 2 on the older platform and 5 on the Revolution scanner platform
- Epic EMR
- 4x10-hour night shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling is generally not approved
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
- Current BLS required
- Proven experience in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments with diverse and severe cases
- Background in large-scale hospitals with complex, fast-paced critical care situations required
- Active state license required, if applicable

- This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging trauma, stroke, and burn cases
- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
