Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do in the role:
- This position is responsible for performing various tasks which support the daily patient flow and operations of the Radiology Services Areas.
- Performs tasks related to transporting patients to and from ED and other areas when needed, delivery of oral contrast to patients’ nurses, cleaning and stocking procedure rooms, preparing associated paperwork, etc.
- Radiology Technical Associates shall not operate equipment that emits ionizing radiation.
- This position requires strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to interact with patients, physicians and personnel in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner.
- Candidate must be capable of functioning with initiative and independent judgment. Must have problem solving skills and be able to hear and follow verbal and/or written instructions
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Graduate or GED
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
