Job Title:Occupational Therapist
Location: Murrieta, California
Shift: Day shift; 4x10-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
Contract Duration: 20 Weeks
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pediatric Occupational Therapist responsible for independently evaluating and treating pediatric patients with feeding, eating, developmental, and sensory-related challenges in a high-quality pediatric outpatient therapy setting. The therapist will manage a full caseload with a primary focus on pediatric feeding disorders, while also providing general pediatric developmental occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities include completing comprehensive OT evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, providing evidence-based interventions, documenting patient progress in Epic, educating families/caregivers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary pediatric teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience treating children with feeding difficulties, oral aversion, dysphagia, ARFID, autism, developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, and other complex developmental diagnoses.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1.5–2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience
Experience independently evaluating and treating pediatric patients with feeding/eating difficulties required
Experience managing a complete pediatric therapy caseload independently
Pediatric patient experience with ages 18 months and older required (8 months and older preferred)
Ability to assess and treat pediatric feeding disorders as the primary reason for referral
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program if graduated prior to 2004
Current California OT License or eligibility to obtain California licensure
Willingness to obtain CA license if currently licensed in another state
Certifications:
NBCOT Certification
BLS (AHA)
California Occupational Therapy License
Preferred Experience:
Children’s hospital experience
Pediatric outpatient therapy experience
Feeding therapy specialization
Dysphagia treatment experience
Early intervention experience
Sensory integration therapy experience
Neurodevelopmental treatment experience"

Resource Logistics Inc Job ID #3261480. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
