Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-performing cardiovascular team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced diagnostic and interventional environment, supporting a wide range of cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience maintaining a sterile procedural environment while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.
Perform patient preparation, including EKG lead placement, procedural site preparation, and equipment setup.
Monitor patients throughout procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias.
Maintain sterile technique and serve as a scrub technologist or circulator during procedures.
Assist with venous access, central line care, and port management as needed.
Operate specialized imaging and cardiovascular equipment while ensuring patient safety.
Accurately document procedures and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
Follow infection prevention protocols, radiation safety standards, and hospital policies.
Participate in on-call coverage and float between Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology as required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification required.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and emergency response protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment.
