Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Schedule: 36/48-hour options available, based on facility scheduling
Compensation for 48 Hours
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $3,507/week
Taxable Pay for 32 Regular Hours: $864/week ($27/hour)
Taxable Pay for 16 Overtime Hours: $648/week ($40.5/hour)
Housing and Meal Stipend: $1,995/week
Blended Rate: $68.56/hour
Job Description
Seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment. Nurses will provide emergency care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity, Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma setting.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, emergency interventions, IV therapy, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, procedural sedation monitoring, and caring for patients with medical, trauma, neurological, respiratory, and psychiatric emergencies.
Important: Nurses must be comfortable caring for inpatient holds, including ICU, Med/Tele, and Med/Surg patients.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Active California RN license in hand at submission; pending or temporary licenses are not accepted
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Epic experience preferred
• Trauma and triage experience highly preferred
• Must be comfortable caring for adult and pediatric patients
• Two supervisor-level or higher references from the past year required at submission
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions
• Must be flexible with scheduling; scheduling requests are not accommodated
Additional Information:
• No floating or on-call requirements
• Maximum 2 weeks of requested time off; no RTO during the first 2 weeks
• Must be available to work 2 of the major holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Holiday-week extended RTO will not be approved
