$13 weeks-Title: CVOR Technologist Location: Columbus, OH Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: August 24, 2026 Shift: Days | 4x10 Hours Schedule: 6:30 AM – 11:00 PM (based on staffing needs) Hours: 40 Hours/Week Call Requirement: Yes – Equitably distributed among staff Weekend Coverage: As needed Compensation: Weekly Gross Pay: Up to 3,037/week Taxable Pay: Approximately 1,560/week (39/hour) Housing & Meal Stipend: Approximately 1,477/week Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately 75.93/hour Final compensation packages are negotiable based on experience, certifications, travel eligibility, and local status. Position Overview: Seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Columbus, OH. This position requires strong cardiovascular and vascular surgical scrub experience with expertise in complex cardiac procedures. First-time travelers are welcome! Locals are accepted at the same rate. Requirements: • 5+ years of CST/Surgical Technologist experience required • Minimum 2 years of dedicated Cardiac & Vascular OR experience • Minimum 1 year CVOR experience required • Minimum 1 year Level I Trauma facility experience required • Scrub experience required • Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument processing • BLS Certification required • EPIC experience preferred Required Clinical Skills: • CVOR procedures: o CABG o Valve Replacement o TAVR o VAD o EVAR/TEVAR o Aortic Aneurysm Repair o Thoracic procedures • Vascular procedures: o Carotid Endarterectomy o AV Fistula Repair o Femoral Popliteal Bypass o Endovascular Procedures • General OR experience • Hybrid OR experience • Trauma OR experience • Aseptic Technique • Universal Protocol / Time-Out • Specimen Handling • Equipment Documentation • Crash Cart Management • Cell Saver Facility Highlights: • Level I Trauma Teaching Facility • Adult & Geriatric Patient Population • Advanced Cardiovascular Surgical Environment • EPIC Documentation System • Work with a specialized cardiac surgical team Credentialing Requirements: • 2 professional references required o Minimum 1 reference from Manager, Director, Supervisor, or Leadership role o Charge reference acceptable for second reference o No coworker references accepted • RTO must be submitted with application • Ohio fingerprinting required immediately after contract signing • Flu Vaccine required (medical exemptions only) • COVID Vaccine: Not Required/wk

Compensation:
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $3,608/week
Taxable Pay: Approximately $1,008/week ($28/hour)
Housing & Meal Stipend: Approximately $2,600/week
Estimated Blended Rate: Approximately $100.02/hour
The department includes 9 labor rooms, 2 operating/recovery rooms, and 5 triage rooms, with approximately 3,000 deliveries annually.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assist with procedures and provide support in the L&D operating rooms.
• Perform OR circulating responsibilities as required.
• Monitor and interpret fetal and maternal telemetry data.
• Independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EPIC.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain patient safety and follow infection-control and facility policies.
• Respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 recent years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• OR circulator experience required.
• Previous travel experience required.
• High-risk obstetrics experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
• Must pass the Telemetry Test on Day 1 with a minimum score of 85%.
• CNM experience will not be considered in place of L&D RN experience.
Required Certifications
• BLS
• NRP
o NRP must be current and must not expire during the proposed assignment.
o All required NRP lessons must be completed.
• Evidence of completing Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, preferably AWHONN.
Preferred: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation course.
