Compensation:
Weekly Gross: $2,962/week
Taxable Pay: $612/week ($17/hr × 36 hrs)
Weekly Stipend: 2,350/week($65.2/hr)
Blended Rate: $82.2/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med Surg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. This is a Float Pool position covering multiple adult acute-care units, including Medical/Surgical, Cardiology/Telemetry, Surgery, and Cardiothoracic units.

Candidates should be comfortable adapting quickly to different units and caring for a variety of medically complex patients.

Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of recent acute-care RN experience
• Stepdown experience required for night shift
• Previous travel nursing experience required — at least 1 successful travel contract
• Previous float experience strongly preferred
• Telemetry experience required
• Must be able to independently interpret telemetry strips
• Must pass an on-site telemetry exam on Day 1 with 84% or higher
• Meditech IV experience required
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Strong adaptability in a float-pool environment
• Psychiatry experience highly preferred

Patient Population / Units
The float pool supports multiple adult acute-care units:
• Medical/Surgical: Orthopedics, Urology, Neurology, GYN
• Cardiology/Telemetry
• Surgical Unit
• Cardiothoracic Unit

Average patient ratio: 5:1

Additional Information:
Shift: Nights
Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule: EOW, EOH
Float: Required
RTO: Maximum 5 days; no extended RTO
Telemetry Exam: Required on Day 1; minimum passing score 84%, up to 2 attempts
Local Candidates: Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered at the applicable local rate
Schedule Requests: No specific schedule requests; availability on most Fridays is required
