Description
Location: Greater New York Area (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Elmhurst, Queens, and surrounding areas)
Lila Medlink is partnering with a leading New York home care agency to recruit experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs). In this role, you'll provide in-home speech therapy services to both pediatric and geriatric patients across the Greater New York area.
Position Details
Home Care
Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
Coverage areas include Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Elmhurst, Queens, and surrounding communities
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Provide speech therapy services in patients' homes
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Minimum Requirements
Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Minimum of 1 year of home care Speech-Language Pathologist experience
Experience working with both pediatric and geriatric patient populations
Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates will not be considered
Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medicaid experience is a plus
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
