Job Description
Join a high-acuity surgical care team in Kansas City, Kansas, delivering expert intraoperative care within a dynamic operating room setting. In this night-shift role, you will circulate and support complex procedures across ENT, Neuro, and Surgical Oncology suites while managing smooth surgical workflows and sterile field protocols. Enjoy a concentrated 3-day work week (Tuesday through Thursday) with guaranteed hours, competitive pay options, zero weekend requirements, and weekly orientations to get you started quickly.
Requirements
Recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a high-acuity Operating Room (OR) setting
Active Kansas (KS) RN License or Multistate/Compact RN License
Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Unit flexibility to float to all Operating Rooms across the medical campus facility
Essential Day 1 clinical competency in at least one key surgical specialty: ENT (trach/awake, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomies), or Surgical Oncology
Preferred Qualifications
Clinical proficiency across all three core surgical specialties (ENT, Neuro, and Surgical Oncology)
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) or advanced surgical certifications
Previous travel nursing contract experience in a high-acuity tertiary hospital surgical department
