Requirements

2 years of recent experience in a Critical Care or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License

Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Flexibility to float to ICU and inpatient units including Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED

Day 1 essential clinical competencies: Open Heart Day 1 care (including pacer wires), CRRT, BiPAP management, chest tubes, PICC lines, drawing own labs, calling consults, and independently conducting codes without a vascular access team on site

Holiday availability (July 4th requirement where applicable) and adherence to local event scheduling blackout policies (no time off during June 11 – July 19, 2026 block)

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Emergency Department (ED) clinical experience to support float rotations

Previous travel contract experience in high-acuity ICU or stepdown units

Demonstrated autonomy in advanced cardiac care, CRRT management, and resuscitation scenarios
