Travel RN Med/Surg (Respiratory) - Wichita, KS

Job Description
Step into a dynamic Respiratory Intermediate Care unit, delivering specialized care to medical/surgical and complex respiratory patients in the heart of Wichita. Working alongside a collaborative healthcare team, you will manage intermediate-level patient monitoring and deliver tailored clinical interventions. This assignment offers a stable 36-hour weekly schedule, an elevated pay structure, and a supportive team environment in a vibrant community.

Requirements

Recent experience in a Med/Surg or Respiratory Intermediate Care clinical setting

Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License

Active BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and MOAB Moderate Risk Certifications

Unit flexibility for every other weekend rotation and required holiday coverage

Day-1 clinical competencies in Cerner OneChart EHR documentation, intermediate respiratory care, and patient management

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing high-acuity respiratory protocols, telemetry monitoring, and specialized pulmonary therapies

Advanced technical proficiency with Cerner OneChart and hospital clinical technology

Multi-contract travel nursing experience in regional healthcare facilities

Level 1 Job ID #ASC-46109. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
