• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• Local Candidates: Accepted; local rate may differ
• Required Work Setting Experience: Inpatient, emergency department, adult ICU, stroke, and trauma imaging
• Required CT Skills: Abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CT angiography, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Required Certifications/Licenses: BLS and ARRT(R)(CT)
• Required Equipment Experience: GE and Siemens CT scanners, including the Siemens SOMATOM Force; Siemens experience is mandatory
• Preferred Skills: Outpatient imaging, IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and Visage
• Patient Population: Infants, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Typical Cases: Routine emergency department imaging, Code Stroke, and trauma cases
• Department Details: Fast-paced emergency department setting with 4 CT rooms and approximately 150–200 scans per day
• Typical Caseload: Approximately 8–12 patients per technologist during an 8-hour period
• Department Staffing: Typically 4–5 technologists on first shift, 2–3 after 5:00 p.m., 1 on third shift, and 2 on weekends
• Documentation Systems: EPIC and Visage
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., plus Monday from 3:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
• Weekend Requirements: Every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
