Description

Specialty: Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist
Scheduling: Monday–Sunday based on unit and patient-care needs; block scheduling is not available
Weekends: As needed
On Call: Required as scheduled
Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day
Floating: Required based on department needs
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
Traveler Experience: Prior travel experience required
Required Certifications: AHA BLS and current CST certification through NBSTSA
Preferred Certification: CNOR, if applicable
Required CVOR Skills: Must be able to function independently as the sole scrub technologist during cardiothoracic surgical cases
Trauma Experience: Recent Level I Trauma Center experience within the past year, with at least 1 year of trauma experience
Facility Experience: Previous experience in a large teaching hospital
Additional Surgical Experience: Orthopedics, robotic surgery, general surgery, ENT, plastic surgery, and neurosurgery
