Description

Specialty: CT Technologist
Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts, Saturday–Monday from 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; 36 hours per week
Weekends: Weekend-only position
On Call: None
Holiday Requirements: One summer and one winter holiday
Department Details: 5 CT scanners
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital-based CT experience; 2–3 years preferred
Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications: BLS and ARRT(CT)
Required Skills: General CT imaging with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department experience
Typical Exams: Head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis CT; stroke alert imaging, CTA perfusion, calcium scoring, and coronary studies
Procedures: Biopsies and drain placements
Preferred Equipment Experience: GE CT equipment, including GE Revolution and Evo
Patient Population: Primarily adults; approximately 2–3 pediatric cases per month, typically teenagers
Pediatric Experience: Not required
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Support Staff: Other CT Technologists, radiology RNs, centralized transport, and Rapid Response and Code Blue teams
Documentation System: EPIC
