Description

CT Technologist
• Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• On Call: As scheduled
• Holiday Requirements: Must work 2 of the following 3 holiday groups: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Day/Eve
• Floating: None

• Facility: 300-bed Level III Trauma Center
• Department Details: 2 CT rooms performing approximately 40 studies every 24 hours
• Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Traveler Experience: Prior travel experience is not required
• Required Certifications/Licensure: ARRT(CT) and active New York State radiologic technologist license
• Venipuncture: Technologist will perform IV injections; New York venipuncture authorization is required, and the facility may assist with obtaining it during orientation
• Patient Population: Newborn through geriatric patients
• Common Exams: Chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, cervical spine, and pulmonary embolism studies
• Documentation System: EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required
• Equipment: Philips CT scanners and Pyxis medication dispensing
