Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Wilmington, NC - Earn Up to $2,795/Week | Nuclear Medicine Tech | 5×8 Days | Wilmington, NC

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.

This position requires an experienced Nuclear Medicine Tech with 5 years of experience, previous travel experience, Epic proficiency, and strong hospital-based Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology skills.

Assignment Details:
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,795/week
Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Wilmington, NC
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Openings: 1
Shift: Days, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts / 40 hours per week
Scheduling: Block scheduling
Patient Ratio: 1:4 on days
Call: Required – rotating nights
Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend
Orientation: 40 hours
Travel Experience: Required
Pre-Approved Time Off: None

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
Previous travel experience required
ARRT (N)
CNMT
Epic experience required
Community hospital experience required
Experience with adult and pediatric Nuclear Medicine
Nuclear Cardiology experience
SPECT experience
IV insertion and maintenance
Venous blood draws
Radioactive material storage, handling, and disposal
Isolation precautions/PPE

Nuclear Medicine Experience:
Candidates should be experienced with a broad range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, including:
3-Phase Bone Scans
Limited and Whole Body Bone Scans
Brain Scans
Liver Imaging
Renal Scans
Sestamibi Parathyroid Scans
Thyroid Studies
I-123 Uptake Scans
Cancer Surveys
Gastric Emptying Studies
HIDA Scans
MUGA Scans
Tumor Localization
Liver/Spleen Scans
Cerebral Blood Flow
Ventilation/Perfusion Lung Scans

Nuclear Cardiology
Candidates should be comfortable performing:
Pharmacological stress testing
Adenosine infusion
Persantine infusion
Exercise/rest studies
Single and multiple exercise/rest studies
Nuclear myocardial imaging

Renal Studies
Experience should include:
Renal flow/function
Renal perfusion
Captopril studies
Lasix renal studies
Three-phase renal imaging

Equipment & Work Environment
Equipment: Siemens
Rooms: 4
Average Daily Census: Approximately 16
Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Work Settings: Hospital, clinic, Nuclear Cardiology, adult and pediatric settings

Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation.

Preferred Experience
Management or lead Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
Trauma Level I experience
Trauma Level II experience
