Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiac Tele RN for a 13-week assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Job Details
* Weekly Pay: Up to $2,211/week*
* Start Date: 09/08/2026
* Duration: 13 weeks
* Shift: Days, 3x12
* Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
* Hours: 36 hours/week
* Patient Ratio: 1:6
* Scheduling: Self-scheduling
* Weekend Requirement: 8 weekend shifts per contract
* Floating: Required
* Travel Experience: Not required
* Orientation: 36 hours
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience
* Strong Cardiac Telemetry experience
* ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
* Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
* Cardiac monitoring and Rapid Response/Code experience
* Blood product administration
* Central and peripheral line care
* Cardiac drip management
* MS/Tele experience
* Stepdown/PCU experience preferred
* Epic experience preferred
About the Unit
This Cardiac Telemetry unit cares for adult patients with diagnoses including:
* Cardiac arrhythmias
* Myocardial infarction
* Acute coronary syndrome
* Heart failure
* Uncontrolled diabetes and DKA
* Post cardiac catheterization
* Post pacemaker placement
* Post ICD placement
Nurses should be comfortable working with high-acuity cardiac patients, cardiac drips, and a 1:6 patient ratio. The unit emphasizes strong teamwork and does not have dedicated charge nurses.
Up to $2,211/week may include taxable wages and applicable non-taxable travel stipends for qualified travelers. Actual compensation may vary based on eligibility, hours worked, and final offer.
