Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiac Tele RN for a 13-week assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Job Details
* Weekly Pay: TBD
* Start Date: September 8, 2026
* Duration: 13 weeks
* Shift: Days, 3x12
* Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
* Guaranteed Schedule: 36 hours/week only
* Setting: Cardiac Telemetry
* Typical Ratio: 1:5–6
* Weekend Requirement: Approximately every other weekend
* Floating: Required as needed; may float every shift
* First-time travelers: Accepted
* Charting: Epic preferred
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience
* Strong recent cardiac experience
* Cardiac Telemetry experience
* PCU/Stepdown/IMC experience required
* Dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring
* Pre/post cardiac catheterization experience
* Pre/post cardiac surgery experience
* Sheath removal experience
* Cardiac drip experience, including Diltiazem and Amiodarone
* Central line/PICC management and blood product administration
* ACLS required
* BLS and NIHSS listed for the position; NIHSS is preferred in the detailed requirements
* Must be comfortable floating based on facility needs

About the Unit
This 42-bed cardiac telemetry unit cares for adult patients with conditions including congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-cardiac catheterization needs.
RNs should be comfortable caring for higher-acuity cardiac patients and working with cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, and Dopamine, along with sheath pulls, TR Bands, and Femstop.

Important: Floating is a significant part of this assignment. Candidates must be willing to float as needed, with the possibility of floating every shift.
