Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment with Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience
BLS required
Epic experience preferred
OCN preferred, not required
Travel experience not required
Clinical Experience
Candidates should be comfortable with:
Med-Surg/Telemetry patient care
Cardiac monitoring
Dysrhythmia interpretation
Blood product administration
Central and peripheral line care
IV therapy and phlebotomy
Starting and maintaining IVs
Rapid Response/Code team procedures
Isolation precautions/PPE
Oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
Unit Details
Adult and geriatric population
Typical ratios: 1:6–7
Self-scheduling
Float required
Approximately 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
1 pre-approved time-off request
24 hours of orientation
36-bed unit
Oncology experience preferred but not required
The unit treats a broad Med-Surg population including patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, orthopedic injuries, and general surgical diagnoses.
