Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Job Details

* Schedule: Days, 4x10s
* Shift: 6:15 AM–4:45 PM
* Hours: 40 hours/week
* Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,896/week
* Employment Type: Travel Contract
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience
* CVOR experience required
* Candidates with 1 year of CVOR experience may be considered if they also have at least 1 year of Main OR experience
* BLS required
* ACLS preferred
* Epic experience preferred
* Travel experience not required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
Clinical Experience Candidates should be comfortable with:
* CABG
* Aortic valve replacement
* Mitral and tricuspid valve procedures
* TAVR
* Aortic aneurysm/dissection repair
* Carotid endarterectomy
* Thoracic procedures
* ECMO
* Impella
* Pericardial window
* Laser lead extractions
* Aortic root procedures
Unit Details
* Adult and geriatric population
* 3 operating rooms
* Approximate ratio: 1:1
* Block scheduling
* Float to Main OR on the same campus if CVOR volume is low
* Call required approximately 2 days per week
* Every 3rd weekend call/coverage
* Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests
* 24 hours of orientation
