Job Summary and Qualifications

• The RN demonstrates independence in planning, organizing, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, clinical and administrative policies. 
• Maintains current knowledge in area(s) of cardiac cath lab. 
• Under the direction of the Director of Cardiac Cath lab determine staffing requirements, interview and hire personnel for department, conduct yearly performance appraisal for all staff, participate in QI process improvement efforts. 
• Works cooperatively within department and other services to create a system of quality health care. Provide leadership in compliance with applicable JCAHO standards and safety standards, and provide leadership in growth and development of new services in area(s) of Cath Lab.

What qualifications you will need:

• Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact Registered Nurse license
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• 3 - 7 years relevant experience 
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
