Job Description:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
Assess students' skills to determine their needs and develop teaching plans
Collaborate with parents, administrators, and other professionals to create effective learning environments
Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth

Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
State certification in Special Education
Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic teaching environment
