Description

Pre-school Physical Therapist - York, PA

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is partnering with an Educational Services client to find a dedicated and experienced Pre-school Physical Therapist. This role is ideal for those passionate about early childhood development and committed to improving children's physical abilities.

Job Details:

  • Location: York, PA
  • Contract Length: 36 weeks
  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $62/hr (based on experience)

Job Description:

  • Provide physical therapy services to preschool-aged children
  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to improve motor skills, strength, and coordination
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support children's developmental goals
  • Conduct regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Educate staff and parents on techniques to support physical development at home and in the classroom
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall child development plans

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Pediatric Physical Therapy experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
