This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives while working with a supportive team in a beautiful area of Northern California.
Job Description:
As an Education Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with diverse learning needs. You’ll collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to ensure each student receives the services and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities Include:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities
-
Collaborate with general education staff to ensure inclusive practices
-
Monitor and report student progress toward goals

Adapt curriculum and modify materials to meet diverse learning needs

Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
-
Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team collaboration
Education & Certification Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field

Valid California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)

Previous experience working with special education students preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Knowledge of California special education laws and compliance standards
