Job Description:
As a School Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting speech and language assessments for students with various communication disorders.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.

• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective support for students.

• Providing direct speech and language therapy services, both in groups and one-on-one.

• Monitoring and tracking student progress and adjusting therapy as needed.

• Participating in meetings to discuss student progress and provide updates on treatment plans.

• Creating and maintaining detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Current State of Texas Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

• Prior experience in a school or educational setting is a plus.

• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and school staff.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
