Job Description:
- Provide sign language interpretation services for K-12 students in various educational settings.
- Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and teachers, staff, and peers.
- Adapt interpretation to meet the needs of students with different levels of proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop strategies for effective communication and support.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- SLI certification in Pennsylvania
- Successful completion of Pennsylvania background checks
