Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm focused on Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a 36-week local assignment near York, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on students' educational experiences.

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 36 weeks
  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $2300 based on experience

Job Description:

  • Provide sign language interpretation services for K-12 students in various educational settings.
  • Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and teachers, staff, and peers.
  • Adapt interpretation to meet the needs of students with different levels of proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop strategies for effective communication and support.

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • SLI certification in Pennsylvania
  • Successful completion of Pennsylvania background checks
  • Updated resume
