School Psychologist – Dearborn, Michigan
Contract Length: 30 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a direct impact on students’ academic, emotional, and social development.

Job Description

• Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ strengths and challenges

• Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed

• Support special education eligibility decisions and compliance with state/federal regulations

• Offer consultation and professional development for school staff

• Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district policies

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility for licensure

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of special education law and psychological assessment tools

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
