School Psychologist – Dearborn, Michigan
Contract Length: 30 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $65/hr (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our partnered Educational Services client near Dearborn, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to make a direct impact on students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Job Description

Conduct psychological assessments to identify students’ strengths and challenges

Develop and implement individualized education and behavioral plans

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success

Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed

Support special education eligibility decisions and compliance with state/federal regulations

Offer consultation and professional development for school staff

Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with district policies
Education and Certification Requirements
-
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field

Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility for licensure

Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong knowledge of special education law and psychological assessment tools

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
