Travel Intensive Care Unit RN

Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Valid nursing degree (ASN, BSN, or higher) from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Experience Requirements: 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience preferred; recent ICU experience required
  • Other Requirements: Ability to interpret strips, manage vents and chest tubes, perform line management, and handle proning; excellent bedside nursing skills; strong documentation and critical thinking abilities

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients, including managing ventilators, chest tubes, and IV lines
  • Monitor patient status through bedside assessment and tele monitoring systems, promptly addressing any changes or emergencies
  • Interpret cardiac strips and laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including CNA, RT, hospitalists, and therapists, to optimize patient outcomes
  • Document patient care activities accurately and efficiently in EPIC electronic health records
