Travel/Contract Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Job Requirements- Education Requirements: Valid RN license with active state licensure
- Certifications Requirements: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including recent travel ICU experience or 5 years of solid ICU experience without travel
- Other Requirements: Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, proficiency in EPIC charting, willingness to float within skill set, ability to work night shift and adapt to schedule changes

- Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care to post-procedure cardiac and neuro patients, including STEMI/NSTEMI management and neuro assessments.
- Interpret tele/12-lead EKGs and respond promptly to abnormal findings, ensuring patient safety.
- Administer and titrate IV drips such as Cardizem, Amio, Nitroglycerin, and Insulin, following established protocols.
- Perform neuro assessments utilizing NIHSS and monitor for signs of neurological deterioration.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for complex cardiac and neuro patients.
