Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Basic Cardiac Rhythm (BCR) certification, valid state RN license
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years ED nursing experience; previous travel experience preferred; ability to handle high-acuity patient cases
  • Other Requirements: Ability to pass an EKG competency exam, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physical stamina to stand for long shifts

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a busy Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department.
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and condition severity.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, RTs, and support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, intravenous drips, and treatments following established protocols and monitor patient responses.
  • Document patient care, procedures, and outcomes accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
