Occupational Therapist, Travel - Days

Austin, Texas - 8 weeks

Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field from an accredited institution
  • Certifications Requirements: Valid Texas OT License, BLS certification, Home Health experience certification (preferred)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of home health experience, prior experience working as an occupational therapist in a home health setting, familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work Monday-Friday, strong communication skills, attention to detail, physical ability to visit multiple patients per day

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in their homes.
  • Execute therapy sessions focusing on improving patients' daily living and motor skills.
  • Collaborate with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity and success of therapy programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in EMR systems.
  • Monitor patient safety and adjust intervention plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
