Job Requirements- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification from an accredited program.
- Certifications Requirements: ASCP Certification, BLS
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience as an MLT with Phlebotomy skills.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, flexibility to work every Friday through Sunday, and must be able to secure housing prior to assignment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a hospital setting.

- Provide accurate and timely laboratory testing, including blood and other specimens, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper collection, labeling, and processing of specimens to facilitate diagnostic accuracy.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with quality standards.
- Document test results precisely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system and report abnormalities to the supervising physician.
- Execute quality control procedures, participate in proficiency testing, and assist with department audits to uphold laboratory accreditation standards.
