Travel/Contract PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Competitive Weekly Pay!

Job Requirements- Education Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or comply with state licensure requirements
- Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CAPA or CPAN certification
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, including Phase I and Phase II recovery; experience with cardiac rhythms, cardiac gtts, and post-cath recovery preferred
- Other Requirements: Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, handle cardiac GTTs, provide discharge instructions, and recover post-surgical patients; excellent teamwork and communication skills; physical stamina to support department duties

- Provide advanced perioperative patient care during the Phase I and Phase II recovery in a high-volume PACU setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Read, interpret, and respond effectively to cardiac rhythms, managing cardiac GTTs and monitoring vented/ICU level patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, surgeons, RTs, and hospitalist staff to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth recovery processes.
- Administer medications, manage IV pumps, and utilize EPIC EMR to document patient progress accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with post-operative procedures such as intubation, blood sugar checks, and surgical site care, maintaining compliance with safety protocols.
