Job Requirements- Education Requirements: Valid RN license in Wisconsin or able to obtain licensure in Wisconsin
- Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification
- Experience Requirements: Up to 2 years of recent Med/Surg and telemetry nursing experience, experience working in a Level III trauma center preferred
- Other Requirements: Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, manage drains and central lines, perform wound care, and effectively document patient information; strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team; physically able to assist with patient transfers and mobility tasks

- Provide comprehensive telemetered nursing care to cardiac and medical patients in various hospital units, adhering to facility protocols and standards.
- Interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, monitor telemetry data, and respond promptly to abnormal findings to ensure patient safety.
- Manage patient drains, central lines (PICC), and wound care procedures, including dressing changes and wound vac management.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including charge nurses, RTs, hospitalists, and unit staff, to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions thoroughly in EPIC EMR system, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality standards.
