Travel OB Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: South of San Jose, CA
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $3,240 per week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel OB RN for a premier healthcare facility in south of San Jose, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an L&D nurse who is passionate about women’s health and newborn care to make a meaningful impact while enjoying one of California’s most charming regions.
Job Description
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progression to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
- Educate and support mothers and families on postpartum and newborn care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Current CA RN License (required)
- 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience (required)
- Recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Current NRP certification (required)
- Current STABLE certification (required)
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – updated every two years (required)
