Description

Travel OB Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery
Location: South of San Jose, CA
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $3,240 per week (based on experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Travel OB RN for a premier healthcare facility in south of San Jose, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an L&D nurse who is passionate about women’s health and newborn care to make a meaningful impact while enjoying one of California’s most charming regions.
Job Description

Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Monitor fetal heart rates, vital signs, and labor progression to ensure patient safety
Administer medications and assist physicians during labor and delivery procedures
Educate and support mothers and families on postpartum and newborn care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Education and Certification Requirements

Current CA RN License (required)
1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience (required)
Recent Mother-Baby/Newborn experience (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
Current NRP certification (required)
Current STABLE certification (required)
Fetal Heart Monitoring certification – updated every two years (required)
