Title:  CT Technologist
Location:  Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Mix of PM and day shift, 7 on – 7 off. Seven On schedule: • 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. • 10:00 am – 10:00 pm, Friday. • 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Saturday, Sunday. The next 7 days off.
Requirements: 2+ years experience | -ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. -Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)

Job Summary: -At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. -Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. -Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. -Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. -Performs other duties as assigned.

•    X-Ray:  General x-ray, including portable x-rays, to support the ED, IP, and OP appointments at the hospital.

•    CT:  Full CT experience to support the ED and IP (typically not outpatient appointments).  Would not include invasive procedures (i.e. biopsy).

Required Skills & Experience: -Minimum of one year, full time equivalent, clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology. Preferred Skills & Experience: -Previous CT experience. Required Education: -Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Preferred Education: -1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. Required Certifications & Licensure: -ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. -Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three (3) months of hire. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A
