Title:  CT Technologist

Location:  Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: 7 on/7 off Monday – Sunday 1pm-1130pm

Requirements:  2 years of CT Technologist experience

-ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. -Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three (3) months of hire.

CT Technologist

Job Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Responsibilities include performing CT studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. The technologist reviews images, archives them with associated patient data, and interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors. Additional duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of one year, full-time equivalent, clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Post high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer.
• Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent required within three (3) months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
 

• Previous CT experience.
• 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field.
